Biodynamics IV - Birth and Death
This class explores the "bookends" of life, birth and death. Birth is a powerful and unique experience for each individual, setting into motion patterns and preferences that the body and psyche may pivot around for one's entire life.
Drawing on pre- and perinatal studies, we learn to better understand how Health organizes birth patterning and how craniosacral therapy helps to reorder early affects.
Death is a mysterious gateway through which we all eventually pass. Biodynamic craniosacral therapy provides a helpful perspective and set of skills that enable the practitioner to relate to the process of dying in a resourced manner.
Some topics considered:
Pre-natal experience and the psyche
Whole body birth shapes and posture
Ignition processes
Attachment and bonding affects
How to be with the dying in a helpful manner
Understanding death of the body from an eastern energetic perspective
